What type of franchise is available?
Tony Sacco’s offers you the opportunity to own and operate a Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza restaurant franchise featuring our line of menu items prepared in the coal oven. Tony Sacco’s is available for shopping centers, multi-use developments, lifestyle centers, mega centers, entertainment centers, and urban locations between 2,800 and 4,000 square feet. We offer single-unit, multi-unit, and developement agent agreements.

How much will I need to invest?
The estimated initial investments to establish a Tony Sacco’s franchise will be between $181,400 and $518,500. This includes a franchise fee of $32,500 as well as the leasehold improvements, equipment, signage, security deposits, three months’ rent, blue prints and permits, point of sale system, furnishings, training fee and working capital to open your restaurant.

Do you offer financing?
Tony Sacco’s does not offer any direct financing but can recommend some third party financing options for you. Equipment leases are very common in the industry and we can help you with lease providers. If you have a retirement fund we can also recommend some great programs that allow you to borrow against your retirement fund without paying penalties or taxes.

How do I know if this is a good business for my area?
Tony Sacco’s caters to a middle class to upper middle class clientele who appreciate the difference that coal fired ovens make in creating a better pizza. Neighborhood demographics and population density are key components in selecting a location. If you find yourself searching for something other than the traditional dining options, then that is a good indicator of a need in your market. Your neighborhood may have a dozen places to get a pizza, but is there a restaurant that has been able to separate themselves with a superior product? Tony Sacco’s serves people just like you. People are searching for something different.

What is the royalty fee?
The royalty fee covers the ongoing support services that you will receive as a Tony Sacco’s franchisee, as well as entitling you to the use of the Tony Sacco’s recipes, service marks, proprietary business system and marketing assistance. The royalty fee is five percent of your restaurant’s gross sales.

How much money can I make with a Tony Sacco’s franchise?
The Federal Trade Commission regulates what Tony Sacco’s is allowed to disclose to potential franchisees. As you proceed through the process of purchasing your Tony Sacco’s business, you will receive the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) that details more about the business opportunity. Part of the FDD is an earnings claim that discloses to you what the revenue, food cost and labor costs of our affiliate has been.

What is the next step?
Simply complete the Request for Consideration Form. Upon receiving the form we will contact you. Also feel free to contact George Kurajian at (239) 877-4437 or email us at Franchise@TonySaccos.com.

An exceptional pizza with a simplified operation separates Tony Sacco’s from every other restaurant.

Our franchisee’s training program teaches you all the information you need to serve up a perfect meal time after time. Getting your location open quickly and on budget, is the first step toward establishing your business and we work with you every step of the way.

Tony Sacco’s provides a premium offering of pizzas while at the same time offering an economical alternative for feeding the family. By targeting upper middle class neighborhoods, Tony Sacco’s is able to target the desired demographics.

SITE ANALYSIS
TSCOP does extensive site analysis on each location that we approve; although this does not guarantee a successful business it does increase the chances for success. If we do not feel confident in the chosen location, we will not approve it and will assist you in finding a more suitable one that meets our company standards.

FRANCHISEE TRAINING PROGRAM
Each selected franchisee will go through a thorough training program involving all facets of your store, from product preparation to backroom operations, new store opening and marketing and advertising programs. Each new franchisee will be trained in our corporate store for a minimum of two (2) weeks or longer depending on the franchisees past experiences and grasp of our program. When you are ready to open your store, we send our team of experts to your location to assist in your opening.

LEASE NEGOTIATION
Once a site or location has been approved by TSCOP, we will (at the franchisees request) assist you in negotiating the best possible lease with the landlord.

STORE DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
TSCOP will help you design your store for maximum efficiency; we can work with any existing store layout, or design a totally new store from the ground up. Our experts will meet with the chosen construction company for an initial consultation before build out begins, and will assist you during the construction process.

MULTI-UNIT FOOD PRICING AND PURCHASING
Unlike most chains, we DO NOT require our franchisees to purchase their products from corporate owned commissaries or from one specific vendor. Our program requires that you buy approved products from one of two different wholesalers that are currently approved by TSCOP. TSCOP will provide you a list of all approved products and the pricing from each of our approved wholesalers; In this way you are assured to get the best possible price for every item that you buy.

CORPORATE MARKETING & ADVERTISING
Marketing and advertising is an essential and often overlooked component of any successful business plan. We understand that most franchisees do not have past marketing or advertising experience. We have developed a comprehensive marketing training program and will teach you how to promote your business in your local market area. We have developed a stable of radio and TV commercials that are available to our franchisees at no charge and will assist you in media placement for the maximum exposure and return on your advertising dollar.

MANUFACTURERS REBATE PROGRAM
Because of our increased buying power, we are able to negotiate rebate programs with some of our largest suppliers, all rebate money that we receive is put into our corporate advertising fund to further assist in creating national campaigns and commercials and web site promotion and maintenance.

OUR MENU
At TSCOP we offer more that the run of the mill pizzas and subs. Our coal oven brings a distinctively unique flavor to our pizzas. Our Mezza Luna sandwiches are baked fresh to order, “including the bread”. Our oven baked wings (which provide a much more healthier, as tastier alternative than the traditional breaded and fried wings) are topped with caramelized onions and fresh garlic for a distinctively unique taste. Accompany this with our fresh, crisp salads, appetizers and desserts and you have a menu that will please anyone.

OUR PRODUCTS
Quality is the cornerstone to our success. We use only the finest ingredients in all of our products; Most of the products that we use are gown or produced in America.

Tony Sacco’s PIZZA Franchise, A Rewarding Lifestyle Business Opportunity

Franchising offers a tremendous opportunity to be your own boss without the risks associated with starting a business from scratch. Franchised businesses account for nearly 10 percent of the private-sector economic output and no other business segment has more franchise success stories in the United States than restaurants. In fact, most of the money that is spent on dining out is spent at franchised restaurants. Diners appreciate the quality and consistency that comes with a franchise, and business owners appreciate having a system to follow. The Tony Sacco’s team has the experience and knowledge to get you up and running quickly and to help you avoid the steep learning curve that comes with starting a new business.

Selecting the right business opportunity can be a challenging decision with so many opportunities available. At Tony Sacco’s we invite you to take a long, hard look and ask the hard questions. We want to make sure that we are a good fit for you and that you are a good fit for us. The Pizza Industry is huge and will exceed $30 Billion in 2009, and yet there is a lot of sameness in the marketplace with most restaurants offering a very similar product. By offering a better pizza that is baked in a unique way, we knew that we could create a new segment of coal fired pizza restaurants. Our results speak for themselves, as customers have embraced the flavor and texture that only coal fired ovens can produce.

Unlike full service restaurants, no previous restaurant experience is required with Tony Sacco’s. All of the cooking in the entire store takes place at the coal fired oven and easy-to-hire, experienced pizza makers will be employed to do this job. The result is a restaurant that can be run by an operator who does not have a food service background. Our proprietary recipes and our training program will provide all the information and hands-on experience you need to serve up a perfect dining experience time after time.

At Tony Sacco’s, simplicity is behind all that we do. It is our goal to help you get up and running quickly and to stay up and running for a long time. And the best way to accomplish this is to provide you with a winning formula.Tony Sacco’s provides a franchise opportunity like no other:

Simplicity: At the heart of Tony Sacco’s is our signature Coal Fired Oven that is used to cook everything that we serve. There are no fryers, grills or microwave ovens. Our Coal Fired Oven ensures that the taste of our menu items is accentuated by the rich, lightly smoky flavor that the oven produces. This unique taste is unavailable with any other cooking method. By serving pizzas, sandwiches, and salads, no high-paid kitchen personnel are required.

Low Food Costs: Controlling food costs is one of the keys in operating a successful restaurant. Many restaurants’ food costs can run between 30 to 35 percent of sales. Tony Sacco’s operates at a food cost of less than 25%, which can translate into higher profits for franchisees. Our menu is designed to use all ingredients to produce more than 1 menu item, thereby reducing cost and waste.

A Better Pizza: You hear claims all the time that one pizza is better than another, yet they are cooked with the same oven, with the same dough and many of the same ingredients. Thus, many people tend to think that all pizzas are the same. At Tony Sacco’s the difference is in the coal. It produces a unique flavor and crispy crust that traditional pizza ovens cannot rival. In keeping with the trend of fresh, healthy food, all of our ingredients are prepared freshly from scratch. We do not use any frozen or pre-prepared ingredients in our restaurant. The coal oven, and the totally fresh ingredients, delivers a 1 – 2 punch of flavor that no other pizza can even come close to matching. The result is a premium pizza offering that separates you from others in the $30 Billion pizza industry.

The pizza industry is an over $30 Billlion per year industry, accounting for more than 10% of all foodservice sales. 94% of the population of the U.S. eats pizza and Americans eat approximately 100 acres of pizza EACH DAY, or about 350 slices per second. Consumers are looking for more and better options for dining out, and it’s reflected in the fact that while quick serve pizza numbers are flat, numbers for the casual dining pizza segment are growing. The consumer trend towards embracing healthier lifestyles has also fueled the interest in restaurants offering healthier menus using fresher, higher quality ingredients. The growth of fast-casual restaurant sales shows that consumers are willing to spend a little more for an upgraded customer experience.

Bringing back the classic flavor of pizza to your neighborhood

Tony Sacco’s was started in Estero Florida by three friends from Michigan, Chuck Senetore, George Kurajian and Tony Sacco. Their mission was to bring back the original taste and quality of pizza the way it was made when the first pizzerias were opened in the early 1900’s. This required the use of a coal burning oven, homemade sauce and dough, and fresh, hand-cut toppings.

By combining their years of restaurant experience and using old family recipes, they have claimed success! Everything we serve is prepared fresh daily. We have no FREEZERS, FRYERS, GRILLS or MICROWAVE OVENS. Everything we make is made fresh to order and baked in our coal oven. Now we are offering you a piece of the pie, with a Tony Sacco’s franchise.

When making a pizza, there is no substitute for using the best ingredients. At Tony Sacco’s we start with freshly made dough and the finest quality cheeses and toppings. But the real secret is drawing out all the flavors by going back to where it began – the coal oven. The coal oven was the mainstay of the early pizza restaurants in New York and the Northeast and is experiencing a resurgence thanks to Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza.

Capable of temperatures of 900° or more, the intense heat of the coal oven creates a pizza with a subtle, smoky flavor, a crispy crust and golden brown cheese. In the words of a true pizza aficionado, “it’s a pie that would bring your Italian grandmother to tears.”

The search for the perfect pizza has been going on since the first pizza restaurant opened in New York in 1905. The quest has come to a halt at Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza. Believe it or not the secret lies in our custom built 7000 pound 1000+ degree coal fired oven. At this blistering temperature wonderful flavors are extracted into our beautiful hand-crafted pizzas. The savory crust, vibrant sauce, and mouth watering toppings contribute to what we believe to be the ideal pizza.

In the early 1900s, coal ovens were the standard, but fell out of favor as gas and electricity arrived and were simpler and easier to use. However, in the trade for ease and efficiency, something was lost. At Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza we have developed ways to produce large quantities of artisan pizza in an efficient and economic way.

The pizza speaks for itself; however, if that isn’t enough here are the facts.

The anthracite coal we use creates twice the energy per pound as wood, and burns cleaner making our coal oven the smart choice environmentally and economically.

One coal burning oven is the ONLY cooking device in the entire restaurant, simplifying your operation as well as your staffing, making hiring a simple task considering you will only need pizza makers to run the kitchen.

We have no freezers in the restaurant. Not only do fresh ingredients make the food taste better, the uniqueness of this concept allow for great marketing opportunities.

Staffing is simple taking into account the size of the restaurant and simplicity of the menu.

Grasping the Tony Sacco’s concept is very quick and doesn’t require previous restaurant experience.

At Tony Sacco’s, we believe we’ve found the secret by going back to the beginning.
